Mr. Ritter is director with McKinnis Consulting Services. In his role as director, Kent is responsible for oversight, strategy, and quality control for all MCS client opportunity assessments. In addition, Mr. Ritter’s responsibilities include brand marketing and new business development. Mr. Ritter’s leverages his operational and technical expertise to understand a client’s unique needs across the revenue cycle and develop a specialized plan based around optimizing technical systems to support revenue cycle processes.

Mr. Ritter has worked with numerous, academic medical centers, multi-facility health systems, and community hospitals. He has led projects focused on net revenue improvement, cost reduction, EHR implementation, post-live system optimization, and operational and financial process improvement throughout the entire revenue cycle. In addition to being certified in Epic’s Resolute Hospital Billing, he is trained in several other Epic applications including ADT/Prelude and Resolute Professional Billing.

Mr. Ritter received his BSB from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business with a concentration in finance. He is a member of HFMA’s First Illinois Chapter, and prior to his career at McKinnis, Kent worked for a leading healthcare consulting firm. Kent currently lives in Chicago.
