Mr. Hancock is a director with McKinnis Consulting Services. In his role as director, Andrew is responsible for overall project delivery, quality, and execution.  His experiences span across the revenue cycle including front end, back end, and middle revenue cycle areas.

Mr. Hancock has experience working with large academic medical centers, regional health systems, and community hospitals. Andrew has successfully implemented projects that include net revenue and process improvement initiatives covering all areas of the revenue cycle.  His experience also includes pre-live support and post-live optimization for EHR conversions, as well as operational cost management initiatives.  He is certified in Epic’s ADT/Prelude module.

Mr. Hancock’s sample MCS experience:

  • Project director for multiple Epic pre-live risk mitigation projects. Project scope included hospital and professional charge entry strategy, charge testing, claims testing, revenue management, and unbilled AR management.
  • Served as project director for an Epic post-live optimization project resulting in a 15 day decrease in unbilled AR, increase of $25M in annual net revenue, and 70% decrease in the customer service abandonment rate
  • Managed an Epic revenue cycle post-live optimization project for a multi-facility health system, creating a new revenue integrity department, decreasing annual net write-offs by $3 million, and increasing total net revenue by $6M
  • Managed project with annual labor and purchased service costs savings of over $10 million
